Story Time!

Butterfly Books has story times for all ages that include stories, songs, and finger plays. Story times are free, but please pre-register at 920-339-1133 as we limit the class size.

Why do we at Butterfly Books consider story time important? Rosemary Wells says, "The most important thing in the first years of life is the growth of the mind and spirit. This is when a child learns to love and trust, to speak and to listen...Trusting, singing, laughing and language are the most important things in a young child's life. And so they must come first for mothers and fathers, too." Story time promotes increased attention span in children, and children enjoy hearing stories with other children. The goal of story time is not to get children to read at a young age, but to set the stage for lifelong learning and the love of reading. Our literacy professionals are happy to help you make the most of this time together.

Story time & Craft - 1st and 3rd Wednesday's at 10 a.m. -This themed story time will feature a craft, stories, and more. All ages. Free.
